The proportions of the tanzanite are as follows: total depth 90%. Deeper than most sacrificing some apparent face size but this extra depth has given this gem outstanding brilliance. A very strong color change from daylight to incandescent light. The picture shows some violet in the daylight photo but it is almost entirely blue. Both daylight and incandescent colors are exceptional. Tanzanites are enhance by heating. The overall quality rating of this gem is 955 out of a possible 1000.
