Tanzanite Marquise Pendant 2.85 Carats

This is a stunning ladies’ tanzanite pendant designed by Christopher Michael. The tanzanite gemstone has magnificent violet blue exceptional color and is GIA Type I VS Clarity. This tanzanite has a timeless marquise brilliant cut that compliments very well with the design of the pendant. This exquisite tanzanite weighs 2.85 carats and measures 6.3 mm wide by 14 mm long by 4.5 mm deep and is 4 prong set. The color of this gemstone has been enhanced, like most tanzanite, by the typical heat treatment. The purple blue tanzanite is set in 14 karat white gold that is completely adorned by thirty-three, 4 prong set, round brilliant G.I.A certified diamonds. The diamonds in this piece are considered D-E-F color and were assigned a VS clarity grading. The total weight of the diamonds is 0.28 carats. The tanzanite and diamond pendant has a scroll of diamonds leading down to the center tanzanite stone. Almost none of the white gold is able to be seen in this piece, excluding the prongs and the point near the center of the scroll, giving the pendant the appearance of being made up completely of diamonds and the tanzanite. The accents diamonds do much more then merely accent the tanzanite. They give this pendant all the sparkle while keeping the piece simple yet very unique.
